MX Holdings US subsidiaries also impacted: CFP Fire Protection / COSCO Fire Protection / Firetrol Protection Systems
On May 10, 2022, the California Attorney General’s Office Published a Data Breach Notice from MX Holdings US, Inc. “(MX Holdings”) and its subsidiary companies, including CFP Fire Protection, COSCO Fire Protection, and Firetrol Protection.
According to California AG’s Office, the data breach occurred on August 17, 2021. MX Holdings reports that it determined personal information was contained in its compromised email accounts around April 5, 2022, eight months after the initial breach.
What information may be at risk?
Depending on the individual, the personal information at risk includes:
· Names
· Dates of Birth
· Social Security Numbers
· Driver’s License Numbers
· Passport Numbers
· Financial Account Numbers
· Limited Medical Information
